Likely the database timed out or the connection was lost, go to the help link and clear it all out and start again.

Ok, i figured out the last part.. but and have moved on to the forums.. Iam receiving this database error (removed my database name for obvious reason)

I figured it out..

It REALLY helps to tell it what forum you are importing from on the first import page.

New problems..

When i get to the Forum post module..I repeatedly get this error



The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

I have done that mulitple times.

The only thing i can even remotely find that applies is possibly the memory, but i have no access to the php.ini to adjust that.

Well No thanks to any support in here, my HOST (dreamhost.com btw) was able to help me by testing it out on there, and informing me how to lower certain numbers in the modules to keep the errors from happening.

So incase other noobs like myself go searching for answers.. try lowering your transfer numbers.. (if you are on the posts module drop the number down from 2000 to 100) it might be slower, but wont error out as much possibly.
