how to increase Association list

i see the default Association list is 25 , how could i increase it ?

is there any modification in php files that could increse Association list when i associate users ?

I never Associate members, and always load it, click quit, and then go to import users, and enable auto merge.

Afterwords when counters are updated I check if my staff have imported_ accounts, manually merge those. And then just keep an eye on online.php to see if missed accounts are there. I also email my members that we merged database and that if they get the email twice, because one of them is imported_, that their emails mismatched and they can request via email (or online form) to merge the accounts.

Would you like to associated imported users with existing users if the email address matches ? should i choose yes or no ?
