I got this error:
Invalid, skipping. Failed on : options

For all forums,

Where I should look to find the problem?
Is it a source problem? or a target problem?

That's a problem with the source data. What are you importing?

I'm merging two 3.8.x vbulletin forums,

Any idea what causes that?

The only things I can think of are either you are not using the correct Impex module or you have a modification on the source database that is causing this.

I'm using the correct module "3.7 & 3.8" one.

Also, we have deleted all hacks, and the problem is still.

Any other thing?

Deleting all hacks does not remove the changes those hacks made to the database. Those changes are the most likely cause of this problem.

But the forums table has the same MySQL schema as default vbulletin has.

It is more than just the forum table that is affected. Again the only times I've seen this happen is if the source data is not correct or you are using the wrong module. Since it's not the latter, then it has to be the former. What the exact problem is with the source data is not something I would know.
