I HATE this system. The hard part about this merge wasn't convincing anyone, it was getting the stupid ImpEx to work at all!!!

That said, it still isn't working.

Invalid post object, skipping.threadid is what I'm getting on all my posts. And then the post import finishes, and it said none of them failed! I'm really confused, distraught, angry, and every shade of black in between. Make sense to you? WELL NEITHER DO I!

I'm sorry, it's been a very long night. But the issue still stands. What does that mean, Invalid post object, skipping.threadid?

What are you importing - system and version? Did you have any modifications installed?

Impex works fine for the versions it's written for assuming the data is in the original format.

It hasn't worked the was I wanted it to once. I had no mods, MyBB 1.4.3.

I basically need the best way of getting a MyBB 1.4.3 from a foreign server I have backend access to to the server I'm on now, then merging it with my vBulletin forum. I decided to try using the ImpEx system, and it put threads in random forums without any obvious pattern. -___- Then I tried using the MyBB merge system, and I got this error message when the merge was done and I tried to log in to fix stuff that broke:

MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error:
1054 - Unknown column 'loginattempts' in 'field list'
Query:
SELECT loginattempts FROM mybb_users WHERE LOWER(username)='the cadet' LIMIT 1

It's gotten incredibly frustrating.

The supported version is: 1.4

It's possible that the data structure has changed in 1.4.3 and that is what is causing this problem.

As for 'MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue' error, to me this indicates there is something wrong with the MyBB data itself. In fact that may be causing the Impex problems. You will need to sort out that issue first, then try the import again.
