Broken Custom BB Codes

Hello
I just imported from phpBB3 to Vbulletien

Custon BB Codes are Broken
they display as follwing in Vbulletien.

[fzs:a6agdnlc]TEST123[/fzs:a6agdnlc]

The intended code was this -> [fzs]TEST123[/fzs]
which in turn became http://www.website.com/TEST123

Pls help me fix it.

Custom bbcode will always need to be cleaned up manually, as the target or decision on each one is relative to each board.

You can use cleaner in this way :

$text = preg_replace('#\[([a-z0-9]+):([a-z0-9]+)\](.*)\[/\\1:\\2\]#siU', '[$1]$3[/$1]', $text); 

That will swap out ANY TAG that has [something:somethingelse] to [something].

If you want to do them one at a time you can use :

$text = preg_replace('#\[fzs:([a-z0-9]+)\](.*)\[/fzs:\\2\]#siU', '[$1]$3[/$1]', $text); 

These are given as examples on how to cleanup a board, the specifics of each clean up job is up to the admin.
