Have you had any luck with this? I need to delete the installation I have up to test whether this will work or not.

Ah, the current importer is for 1.6.2 not 2.1.0.

You'll have to contact me via a support ticket so I can check out the source database.

It didn't help. I tried it as just 'exp' and that didn't help either.
Then what is the current error or issue ? and what version of Expression Engine ?

    Now that you have it working, without these details I can't really help ;

I managed to input all the data in vbfields.php into the database. I'm proceeding to Step 1, check and update databases. It's not returning any valid fields, so I checked and found a table prefix of 'exp_'. I added that to the ImpExConfig.php. It didn't help. I tried it as just 'exp' and that didn't help either.

Don't know what to try next.

Yes, it's there, but we just deleted the table it had created. How do I reinstate it? Run the install again? Will that mess things up if I don't uninstall it first?

Or is there a way to run the contents of the vbfields as a query? I can't altogether distinguish between what's php and what's an sql query.

    Very strange.

Can you double check you have the file vbfields.php uploaded to the impex directory.

Okay, I figured out how to delete the impex session, and I deleted the vbfields table, I got a little further, but now it's complaining that I DON'T have a vbfields table.

ImpEx Database errormysql error: Invalid SQL:
    SELECT fieldname, vbmandatory, defaultvalue, dictionary
    FROM vbfields
    WHERE tablename = 'usergroup'
    AND product='vbulletin'
    ORDER BY vbmandatory

Thanks for the reply. How do I go about deleting the session?

Then ImpEx must of been run before, or the table wasn't created properly, or you don't have DROP permissions for your SQL account (which is unlikely).

I would remove the table manually, delete the ImpEx session and restart the import.

It would seem that 'vbfields' is an impex field. If I'm just now running the script for the first time, why is it already there? And why is it halting progress?
