    Primary is: members.ID_GROUP

    Secondary is: members.additionalGroups

It is possible to have multiple secondary groups.

    There is :

    members.ID_GROUP

    and

    members.ID_POST_GROUP

So it looks like they have a primary and secondary group, opposed to having the function to have multiple secondary groups ?

Looking at it now to see what it would take to update the importer for that.

started a topic SMF 1.1.4 to vB 3.7.1

    SMF 1.1.4 to vB 3.7.1

    Clean Import
    Source: SMF 1.1.4
    Target: vB 3.7.1

I am working on converting from SMF 1.1.4 to vB 3.7.1 and am having some issues when importing.

Specifically the import process is not assigning users to their Additional Usergroups in vB as they were in SMF. It is only assigning them to any Primary Usergroups that they were assigned to in SMF. Many users (approx 1000+) need to be in multiple usergroups in order to facilitate access to different forums where access is granted upon being in a certain usergroup.

There are no errors generated on the import, it just doesn't pick up the additional usergroups that people are assigned to. Is there any way to fix this? Or will I have to go through and edit all 1000+ people that need to be assigned to multiple usergroups?

Thank you in advance for any help or advice.
