Simple Machines conversion without loosing the ID's

Impex can convert SMF to vbulletin, is correct, but the idīs of post and threads is diferent from SMF, in this link suggest about an addon in this forum, i search in the forum for this without any result.

Can any help me?

The ID's will change, what we can do though is redirect the old ID's to the new threads. There is a file named 404.php in the ImpEx zip package which can help you set this up.

I write a script for redirecting old urls to new vbulletin urls, the problem is the id, not equal, why?

That's not possible the way the importer works. As I said, there is already a redirection script that works though.

Thanks Jerry, the 404.php works nice for me with a small modification, very nice example.
