impex: white screen, clicking back ok?

Hi, I've received so many problems with the impex system around importing "posts". I have about 700,000 posts, and no matter how many I import at a time, whether it's 1000, or 250, I eventually run into a white screen area.

Each time the white screen came up, I started all over. Now, when I click back, it restarts. After days of frustration, should I just click "back" and let it continue? Will this do any harm on the forum posts, IE posts end up on threads that they don't belong in? Or, will I only lose a few posts here and there (which I don't mind at all)? Please help.

If you have access to the shell, go to the /var/log/httpd and type
tail error_log when you get the white page, it will disclose with more detail what the error is you're running into. I suspect either memory or mod_security.

Click back is bad. Most likely memory issues.
