I'm having some problems with importing phpBB3 beta 5 to VBB. Anybody done this successfully? I can get the usergroups, users, emails, threads, forums, posts, etc to import. However, I cannot get anything else. The join dates all say Dec 31, 1969. No private messages import. Smilies in posts show up as garbage (<!-- s:welcome: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/welcome.gif" alt="Welcome" title="Welcome" /><!-- s:welcome: -->) even after running the cleanup script. I'm sort of at a loss here. I can't exactly make this switch without these things working.

Oh, and passwords didn't import either. Neither did AIM, YIM, MSNM, birthdays, sigs, avatars, etc. -

phpBB3 is the exception to the rule of supporting betas and forums.
Though I will need a copy of the database to do that, as I don't have a beta5 schema.Comment
