  • Files in wrong format?

My previous server crashed, however, I was able to obtain my database files in .myd .myi and .frm (there were three files for each table, IE: post.myd post.myi and post.frm)

Is there ANY way to import these into the database or to convert them in the .sql so they can be imported into my new database?

Or am I out of luck?

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks!

No, I'm not aware of any way to import these to an sql file. The only way I know to restore then is to place the files in the appropriate directory for this database and edit the file ownership permissions as needed for that server. This is something you would need root access to the server to do.

Thank you! This appears to have fixed the problem. I'm still in the importing stage, but it seems to working nicely.

      Thank you for quick response!
