  • trying to import fromphpbb to vb

    Type of import clean
    Source board system and version. bbphp 2.0.x
    Target version. VB new version 3.6.4
    Module issue occurred on. user
    Any SQL error reported. none






    ive installed VB etc all okay. now im trying to import from phpbb2 to VB

    but it's not working...

    when i try copy over the users. ( the main (only) things i want to copy over are users, posts and topics)

    but all i get is the blue page and nothing happens.
    ive checked the new database in phpmyadmin but the user table is still qty 1.

    what am i doing wrong?

    the tool sseems to work fine for the threads...

      Try to add the following line to your ImpExConfig.php, immediate after the first line:

      ini_set('display_errors', true);


      Now run ImpEx again and see if you get aditional error messages.

        okay well they copied over. well the feedback says it . i updated counters but now when i go to my forum... most the threads do not have an poster. they are ownerless.

        please help as i dont know how to fix it now. www.mangoshake.com/chetas is the forum after and www.mangoshake.com/forum is the phpbb version.

          Please open a Support Ticket with full description of the problem. Also tell if we can re-run the import (ie loose the already imported data).
