    why there is charset problem after importing from phpBB to VB 3.6.4 ?

    There shouldn't be and frankly I've never heard of this before. Can you please provide more info?

        That isn't info, that's a picture. Yes it shows some charset issues but it does not explain anything. You claimed that this is a problem with the import. What is the info regarding this?

          whenever i import any forum (webWiz , phpBB IPB etc..) to vb the same charset problem is occured


          i can not find out why this problem occured / i can not find out where i am making mistake

          my localhost is following
          • Apache 2.2.3
          • MySQL 5.0.27
          • PHP 5.2.0
          • phpMyAdmin 2.9.1.1
          • FileZilla FTP Server 0.9.20
          • OpenSSL 0.9.8d

          what is the php / mysql config or variables for non-problem installation ?

            Please include a complete description of the problem and be sure to include the login info to your Admin CP, phpMyAdmin and FTP in the 'Sensitive Data' field.

              The target database should be in UTF-8 before the import, if that’s what the target and vBulletin is set to use.

                UTF-8 but what there is no only UTF-8

                for example UTF-8_turkish_ci or UTF-8_swedish_ci


                or .....
