  • final step: remove old forum (link)

Ok I think I'm done with the import (xmb>vb) ... many thanks to VB Support (especially Jerry).

The old forum was at mysite/forum
The new forum is at mysite/vb

Which are all the changes needed so people when go to mysite/forum should see new forum?

delete old directory and rename vb to "forum"?
what about changes in admin cp

Forum URL changed at vb options... thats all?

    cheers I love VB

    I've put a redirect on index.html, nevermind

    I'd do this:

    1) Goto Members Area and update URL to be mysite/forum
    2) Rename mysite/forum to mysite/xmb
    3) Rename mysite/vb to mysite/forum
    4) Login to AdminCP, and Update the necessary Site Settings for your Forum
