    ===================

    Righty, first thing to do is run impex stand alone, i.e. in the web root and not in the admincp, and set up the ImpExConfig.php.

    Secondly, if you can turn off the PHP time out and set the memory limit as high as you dare as 350,000 topics is going to take up a lot of memory when importing the posts (it loads a reference array importthreadid -> threadid). With 1G of ram I'd give PHP 512 Meg.

    Take a back up after each module.

    After importing the posts its going to take quite a while to update the parent id's also, so give it time and don't hit back or refresh.

        out side of the folder you are running vBulletin in, i.e. if you have :

        /home/jerry/www/forum/
        /home/jerry/www/forum/impex

        at the moment which is the usual way, move it out like this :

        /home/jerry/www/forum/
        /home/jerry/www/impex

        So its not inside vBulletin, no time outs and slightly less memory used.
