extra importing from phpbb to my existing online vb forum

I have been using vb for 2 years without any probs
my friend using phpbb and he want to close his site.
So, I want to move his threads which is under phpbb to my vb forum
I created a new category for these threads on my vb forum
usernames are no problem, they can be viewable as "guest" in my vb

but how could I import these threads from phpbb to my existing vb forum

phpbb is last version
vb is last version

Use the Impex import system. That's what it's there for. You download it from the Members Area.
