Moderators can't moderate imported threads

My moderators are testing the import now, and we've found that they only get the thread admin options on new threads (those created post-import). The don't get those options on any of the imported threads, even within the same forum.

Is there a simple way to correct this?

Did you assign your users to moderate a forum in the forum manager?

Well, yes and no. Their moderator assignments were imported, so they show up as the moderator for the appropriate forums.

I took a closer look at their specific permissions, and they were ALL set to "no." So what I said in my first post wasn't entirely correct. Knowing that I need to go in and reset their permissions, is there a way to do this on a global basis rather than forum by forum?
