  • How do i import?

    i had IPB 1.3, i got VB3, how do i import everything to vb3?

      now in impex, when i try to import it, i get errors...when i try to import the ipb1.3 db that is i get errors...

          i click the selection under "Check and update database"


          i get

            Have you updated the impexconfig.php file?

              yea

              all i had to do was add source and target mysql, al set source to TRUE

                Uhm, then I do not know.

                Are you sure you are running the correct import script (trying to import phpbb while the database is ipb?) - if the database tables use a prefix, did you set this in the impexconfig.php ?

                      all of my mysql databases and users have wire_ infron of em, i dont put it there, mysql and phpmyadmin do...i really need to keep my posts when i start to use vb...

                        There's a difference between the database name and the database tables. Do the tables have this as a prefix?
