  • Error while importing from UBB 6.3.1

While import forums I've gor the following error:

Parse error: parse error unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING, expecting ')'
    in /usr/local/www/....../forum/impex/systems/(210) : eval()'d code on line 14

The UBB categories are green now, but the forums are red. How to fix this error?

After import finished I can't see anything in index page, but posts themself exist and can be searched. Also all posts in threads mixed.

Did you update the counters after completing the import?

        Step by step explanaition:

001 Get paths and system data - No errors. All Ok.
002 Associate Users - Warning: Missing argument 2 for get_members_list() in .../www/.../forum/impex/systems/ubb_classic/000.php on line 124

Warning: Missing argument 3 for get_members_list() in .../www/.../forum/impex/systems/ubb_classic/000.php on line 124
        003 Import Users - Ok
004 Import Ban List - Ok
005 Import Styles - I thinks Ok. It says: Icons updated sucessfully ensure that they are correctly named buy going to "Post Icons" in the Admin Controll Panel. But after I can't see imported style in the admincp. Don't know where to find it.
        006 Import Forums - Error

        Categories. - Ok

Forums. - Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING, expecting ')' in .../www/.../forum/impex/systems/ubb_classic/006.php(210) : eval()'d code on line 14

After this (and counters update) it shows all the data, but it all mixed up. Some posts moved from one thread to another.

What's wrong and how to fix it?

Personally it looks like you did not upload the Impex files correctly. I would reupload all the files and make sure you upload these in ASCII and overwrite the ones on the server.

I've downloaded Impex.tar.gz and issued the following command: tar zxvf Impex.tar.gz

            My server runs FreeBSD 4.7.

Ok, I'll try to download zip and re-upload it in ASCII.

I've re-uploaded all the files in ASCII from the zip. The same problem, no changes at all.

This is going to be an error generated from php trying to parse a perl array from a file into a php array.

Please open a support ticket for this one at : [email protected]

and we can take a closer look at it.

                  I saw UBB status "re-dev ubb.classic 6.7 (issues...)"

Any ideas, when it will be fixed?

I've just updated the parser and code causing the missing posts error.

Do you need to associate users ?

THe updated importer is in the memebers area.
