  • Facebook error..

    I went through the updated PDF for activating the Facebook App.

    In face book.. when i enter my web address; "metrodubs.com/forums/" , i get the following error;
    ErrorApp Domain: metrodubs.com/forums/ is not a valid domain.

    So then i will delete that and remove the trailing "/" and i will get this error;
    ErrorApp Domain: metrodubs.com/forums is not a valid domain.

    So finally, I just inputed "metrodubs.com" and i get this;
    Error
    You have specified an App Domain but have not specified a Site URL or a Mobile Web URL
    metrodubs.com must be derived from your Site URL or your Mobile Web URL.

    so, any help on this would be awesome. I am current on my release

    How about entering it with the "http://" in front of it.

    If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

      I think i posted this too soon. I seem to have it working now. I was hitting "save" before completing Step 14 of the PDF that vBulletin posted.

      however, i did activate the "Publish to Facebook" option in the CPMS but it does not show on my forums.
      Is there a help PDf for that?

            Create a new style with no parent:
            • Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
            • Parent Style: No Parent Style
            • Title: Default vBulletin
            • Allow User Selection: Yes
            • Save

            Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you see the Publish to Facebook option now?
