Unable to upload images with Safari vbulletin 4.2.5

There appears to be a bug with the way Safari 14 works with Mojave.

It seems to work now on my MacBook Pro with Safari, since the upgrade to Big Sur OSX.

BUT still doesn't work with Safari, on my iMac Pro, running OSX Mojave, which is odd because Mojave predates Big Sur by a few operating systems.

What operating system is this?

Not sure though if everything in vB4 will work in Safari, as vB4 is no longer updated.

Still seems to work with Chrome but with Safari clicking Choose File

does nothing.
