  • Max bbcode Image Size

I am looking for a way to edit the max bbcode image size so that images posted used bbcodes do not auto resize after a certain limit of pixels. Is there a way to do this from somewhere in the control panel ? Would rather not have to go into the actual code.

    Thanks in advance,

BBCode doesn't have a size limit for images, attachments do.

In Admin CP -> Attachments -> Attachment Type Manager you can remove the limits for images by editing each image type (jpg, jpeg, gif, png) and deleting the max width and max height setting, and mex file size... HOWEVER I would not recommend this.

Also there is a limit near the bottom of your config.php file which depending how old your forum is may be set to a relatively small max width and height you may want to increase but this value needs to exist.

Once those are taken care of the only limit will be your php upload file size.

If you are getting limited size on a bbcode image it's likely the style maxes out the width, if you switch to a fluid-width (as opposed to fixed width) style it should show full size.
