  • [Forum] MySQL Error 1785 after upgrading

    I have successfully updated my forum from vB 3.8.9 to vB 4.2.5. Simultaneously changed from php5.2 and MySQL4 to php 7.1 and MySQL5.7.

    Everything is going well so far, but unfortunately I can not maintain the forum anymore. When i deleting posts or topics, I get this strange error message:

    Invalid SQL:

    DELETE searchcore, searchcore_text
    FROM searchcore AS searchcore JOIN
    searchcore_text AS searchcore_text ON
    searchcore.searchcoreid = searchcore_text.searchcoreid
    WHERE searchcore.groupcontenttypeid = 2 AND
    searchcore.groupid = 17970;

    MySQL-Error : Statement violates GTID consistency: Updates to non-transactional tables can only be done in either autocommitted statements or single-statement transactions, and never in the same statement as updates to transactional tables.

    Class : vB_Database_MySQLi
    MySQL-Version : 5.7.27-log
    PHP: 7.1.33
    Google finds almost nothing about error code 1785.
    Does anyone have an idea or solution?

    vBulletin 4.2.5 wasn't designed for GTID Consistency. The underlying software is a decade old. The default for GTID Mode is off in MySQL 5.7. You can turn GTID mode off with this variable -
