  • error 1114, session table full?? HELP

So I have a table session full in mm_session

i've heard about how you need to
    truncate the
    "session"
    table in your database

the question is, because i'm not an expert at this.

HOW.....do I truncate the table session?

when I go into MyPHP, i see the table coming up in the error, mm_session,

    and it says
    so what now?

can someone explain this to me in simple terms, when I actually click on mm_session and go into it what exactly do I do then??

i'm lost, thank you, appreciate any help.

Backup the database first using EXPORT from phpMyAdmin.

AdminCP >> Maintenance >> Execute SQL Query >> Manual Query

    Code:
    TRUNCATE TABLE mm_session;
You can also do this from phpMyAdmin using the SQL tab - preferable for large databases.

but its filling up VERY QUICKLY,

is there any way to stop this?

I know it has to do with "GUESTS", its filling up to nearly 40,000.

      any more tricks you know?

      thank you.

Sounds like you're being flooded by bots or a DDoS attack. Have you checked IPs to determine the origins?

Look into using Cloudflare. You can try the free plan and see if it works but if it is a DDoS you'll likely need the $10/month plan for the extra features.
