Post Editor Functions Not Working Since Upgrade

I am currently running PHP 5.6.30 and upgraded to the latest stable release of vbulletin 4.2.5.

Ever since, the WYSIWIG editor is not working properly in Internet Explorer 11.

Sometimes, you can only see part of the text to edit in the field and the SAVE GO ADVANCED DELETE CANCEL buttons are not visible. There's no way to save anything that you edit.

This problem does not exist in Firefox or Chrome and is not related to forum user role permissions.

I've searched the forums and tried some of the various solutions related to this type of problem, but nothing works. All plug-ins have been disabled and that doesn't help either.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Unfortunately, IE11 gets more and more problematic as time goes on. It sounds like there is a Javascript Error. While in IE11, if you press F12 and open the developer tools, are any errors shown? The tools may take awhile to come up on your screen.

Looks like you have corrupted files. Please upload a new copy of the clientscript folder.

          Wayne,

I find that hard to believe. I'm seeing this with two totally different forum sites that I own. Each on a different server.

If you're not happy to try what we suggest then I'm not really sure what we can do for you.

There is no vBulletin bug that would cause this, however as Wayne states IE11 gets more and more problematic as time goes on.

Another option would be to disable the WYSIWYG editor for IE users, there is actually a plugin on vbulletin.org that will do this. The standard editor is less problematic in IE11 (as in, not problematic at all).
