Emoticons problem in IE with 4.2.4

I upgraded the forum to 4.2.4 and now, in Internet Explorer, it's not possible to insert emoticons in the posts.

That shouldn't have changed in 4.2.4. What version of IE are you using? What is the error shown in IE's developer tools when you click on a smilie to insert it?

IE 11. The console does not display anything. When i click a smile, nothing occurs. Not a big problem, because the user involved has switched to firefox.
