  • After SSL conversion, login gives redirect error

I converted 4 vBulletin 4.2.3 PL2 forums to https:// recently and most of it now works fine, other than some mixed content issues on certain pages.

However, when I log in to any of these forums, after I log in I get this error:

    Code:
    Invalid redirect URL http://www.forum.com
If I click on the logo or any of the nav links, I get correctly redirected to the https:// version. This seems to be the only place I get this error.

Any suggestions on how to correct this?

I've titled this thread poorly I think. This is not an SSL issue per se.

I need to know where/how to change the URL for the redirection after a member logs in. This is the only thing not working since the SSL conversion.

Did you change your URLs in AdminCP > Settings > Options > Site Name/URL/etc ?

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

Yes I did. That's the problem. I can't find anywhere else to change it.

I don't know why it would make a difference but the forum is on a subdomain forum.example.com, and the cookie setting is the default .example.com

I just upgraded to vBulletin 4.2.4 this evening. This issue is no longer occurring.

I've no idea what the problem was though. I recently converted my site to https and that runs 4.2.3 without issue.
