    Auto Resize Image in Notice

    Hello All,

    I recently became the president of an organization. With this the org's extremely large vBulletin forum (aprox 800 member) was dumped in my lap. Now I've posted on forums for many many years but I have never been the webmaster for one. Can you say crash course in brain surgery??? Anyway my question is this....

    I have placed a large banner (jpg image) in the Notice area using the following HTML code...

    <p style="text-align: center;"><a href="" target="new"><img src="
    "alt=“ReefCurrents2016" style="width:1100px;height:160px;border:0;”> title=“ReefCurrents2016" /></a></p>

    The banner looks great and is centered on my computer. There is plenty of space on either side of the banner before the border of the forum. What I notice is that when I view our site on my Apple 6 Plus phone the image is longer than the site itself. The banner runs off the edge of the site and overlaps the site border.

    Is there any way to make this image automatically resize for different size monitors/phones? I'm using the following:

    web browser - computer:Firefox, Chrome, phone: Safari
    vBulletin v. 4.2.2
    MySQL v. 5.5.48-cll
    PHP v. 5.4.43

    Thanks for any help and I'm sure I'm going to have a LOT more questions as I try to figure all this out.
