  • .htaccess breaking CSS on new dedicated server

    Hi guys
So I have moved my forum to a dedicated server and also changed the domain name.
After some tidying up of various links that were broken all seemed OK.

I then activated the .htaccess rules I had in place in the admincp and modcp folders and the forums CSS was broken immediately.
Basically if I put anything in a .htaccess file the CSS breaks.
The code was a simple password required with the accompanying .htpasswd file.

The only thing that is different on the dedicated server is the path to the forum files is slightly different to how it was on the VPS

    It is currently /var/www/vhosts/myserver.onlinehome-server.info/t-m-f.uk
Before it was one level less /var/www/vhosts/television-magazine-forum.co.uk/

I have pointed apache at the myserver.online-home.info folder but it is still the same.

Any ideas please as I really need the .htaccess files in place to rewrite some links.

    regards
    Trevor
