    Holy crap! Thank you!

The latest version(s) of Tapatalk do have a switch to disable in app registrations but they are enabled by default and I don't recall seeing ANY documentation anywhere that warns you that this bypasses your vBulletin security measures.

Not cool, Tapatalk. Not cool at all.

    Some registrations bypassing approval queue

Just in the past few days, suddenly a few new registrations are being approved/activated automatically on one forum where I am a tech admin.

There have been no new additions (i.e., add-ons) or changes to settings in the recent past. The registration settings require first email validation and then approval/activation by an administrator.

Not all new registrations are bypassing admin approval and at least a couple of the ones that bypassed admin approval look normal and would have been approved anyway. There doers not seem to be anything remarkable about the ones that bypass admin approval compared with those that don't.

Can anyone suggest what could possibly be causing this strange behavior? Because it's intermittent and not affecting all registrations it is of course more difficult tyo troubleshoot.
