  • Upgrading from 4.2.1 to 4.2.2

I'm running 4.2.1 and am considering upgrading to 4.2.2.
    1. What is the benefit of this upgrade and
    2. I'm concerned about upgrading to php 5.4 and whether or not it will cause problems with my plugins. I run a bunch of mods from DragonByte for example

Any thoughts on the pros and cons of making this upgrade and how you determine if the plugin will be compatible with php5.4?

4.2.2 has a bunch of bug fixes as well as the php 5.4 stuff.

As to plugins, you would need to ask the developer, but I would have thought DragonByte mods would be compatible.

Btw, 4.2.3 will have more fixes for php 5.4, php 5.5, general fixes and shortly, updates to allow facebook integration to continue when FB shuts off its old API.

4.2.3 Beta 4 should be available by the end of February.

Is 4.2.3 ever coming out of beta?
