[Forum] French Language pack not working.

I am trying to install the French Language pack and I can get it too work.

VB version 4.2.0

Steps :

1- downloaded the French Language pack from members area.
2- Create the new French Language with correct parameters.
3- Used import function to import vbulletin-language-fr.xml into the create French language.
4- Import the rest of the .xml files one after the other into the same French Language.

When I switch language on the forum, nothing changes, its still all in English?

Why create new one?

open AdminCP->Languages & Phrases->Languages & Phrases and import xml file.

Thank-you for the reply, that didnt work, the language did not show up once the .xml imported? Let me ask you a question, I am in the process of moving host, from shared hosting to a dedicated server. On my shared hosting plan my DB is setup as MySQLi on my dedicated server, MySQLi is not installed so I have to use MySQL oin the config.php, could this be causing the problem why the language file is not importing?

What are you mean by didn't work? is there any error message? no MYSQL & MySQLi couldn't cause that problem

I followed the steps in the video, and the screen refreshed but when I checked the language manger, the language was not installed. No error message.
