  • [CMS] Unknown column 'vbcmspermissions' in 'field list' error

    I do not have CMS enabled. I keep it disabled. Yet I am seeing this error:

    Code:
    Invalid SQL:
    SELECT vbcmspermissions FROM ibf_administrator WHERE userid = 1;

    I tried removing the CMS product from the backend. The process crashes with this error:

    				ON cms_widgettype.packageid = package.packageid
    			LEFT JOIN ibf_cms_widget AS cms_widget
    				ON cms_widget.widgettypeid = cms_widgettype.widgettypeid
    			LEFT JOIN ibf_cms_widgetconfig AS cms_widgetconfig
    				ON cms_widgetconfig.widgetid = cms_widget.widgetid
    			WHERE package.productid = 'vbcms';

    The uninstall error is a known issue that will be fixed in 4.2.1. In the meantime, in phpMyAdmin, do the following to remove this from your site:

    - Make sure all cms_* tables are gone.
    - Check package table to make sure no vbcms.
    - Check product table to make sure no vbcms productid.
    - Check productcode table to make sure no vbcms productid.
    - Check productdependancy to make sure no vbcms productid.
