  • [CMS] CMS Content Background Color

    I am using the editor to add some information on the content.php. I have been unable to figure out how to change the color of the background from white to another color. I want to make it the same blue as the sidebar widgets. Can someone please tell me what needs to be added to change the color in my image below? Thanks!

    edit vbcms_article_background Stylevar
    AdminCP->Styles & Templates->Style Manager then choose Style Variable Editor and click go
    Search Stylevar : vbcms_article_background edit it and click save

    Or add this to additional.css template
    Code:
    .article{
    background:green;
    }
    replace green with your value

      Excellent Ali! I was able to change it by searching the Stlyvar for the vbcms_article_background.
      Do you know what Stylevar I can edit to change the text area at the top that says Welcome to Victorious to White and the Background of that text area to Red. I am referring to the top where I have one of the words with a black line though it. Again I would like it to be similar to the side bar

      Thank you for the help. Brian

            add to additional.css template
            Code:
            [COLOR=#000000][FONT=Consolas].header, .article_title{
            background:green;
            }[/FONT][/COLOR]

              Thanks for all the help. One more image. Where can I either reduce the width of the header to match the body or increase the body to match the header? Also I would like to add some padding to the left side of content area to move content from edge? Would like to do with stylevars if possible.

                Can you give us a link to see it - much easier and quicker for CSS issues...

                  Sure...Thanks http://www.saviorspace.com/content.php

                  I just want to move the content in blue box from left edge a few px and get the blue content area and red header to be the same width.

                    For the padding, add this to the additional.css template:

                    Code:
                    div.article_preview {
                        padding-left: VALUEpx;
                    }
                    ...changing the value as you feel appropriate. Interestingly, if you use 10px there, it will line the blue area up with the header bar.

                      What I find even more interesting than that is that you knew that adjusting that value by 10PX would line the two up!

                      Thanks for the help

                            widgetinstance 262 (Related Topics) skipped due to lack of content & hide_module_if_empty option.
