  • Putting index.php in root gives blank page

    Hi,

So I wanted to put my forum's index.php page in the server root so that when you go to my site's domain it will just forward to the board's directory. I don't want to use a meta-refresh tag anymore I think it's hurting my search engine results. Anyway I moved the page into the root and changed and uncommented the line you're supposed to change with my forum's relative path, and I'm getting a blank page now when I go to it. I tried chmodding it to 755 thinking that may be the problem but it's not. Need some advice. Thanks. Oh I'm running 4.2.2.

All good figured it out, my stupid word editor was changing the ' around the forum directory name, to a one with a slant and it wouldn't work. All fixed and working fine.
