  • [Forum] STRANGE... Blank Pages, Inline Mod pull down menu, Reply area.

Inconsistently, but mostly, I and users experience; Blank Pages, Inline Mod pull down menu, Reply area and just see blank threads.

This is the way the Inline Mod pull down menu and the reply looks:

I've disabled plugins in the config.php and still see this happening.

Any ideas of how to resolve this isue will be very much appreciated.

When did this start happening? What version are you running?

Did you change anything with the languages?

        Running 4.2.0 Patch Level 2

I've made no changes to the languages

Again this happens inconsistantly, as I'm looking at first thing today, it's OK, then started looking through some posts, in particular (http://www.mycockpit.org/forums/showthread.php?t=24618 and a few others) and it started again.

Create a new style with no parent:
          • Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
          • Parent Style: No Parent Style
          • Title: Default vBulletin
          • Allow User Selection: Yes
          • Save

Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

How about with disabling all your modifications? Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit includes/config.php and add this line right under <?php

              PHP Code:
              define('DISABLE_HOOKS'true);
And exactly when did this problem start? And were there any changes on your server or forum at the time things changes? What version of PHP are you running and what version of PCRE?
