[Forum] Make A Forum Private but open after x Amount of posts?

Hi guys

I'm wanting to make one of my sections of the forum private, to users with less than x amount of posts, is this possible?? and after they post the x amount, that it automatically allows them to gain access.

I'm positive that I didn't see such an option yet. But a request for a third party addon (www.vbulletin.org) could help.

You'll want to disallow access to that section to your Registered Users group. Then, make a new usergroup that does have access to that section and set up a promotion after a certain number of posts from registered users to your new usergroup.
