Add this code to additinoal.css and change the 777777 to whatever fits

.formcontrols .blockrow .description {
    color: #7777777 !important;
    font-size: 11px;
    line-height: 150%;
    margin-bottom: 5px;
    margin-left: 212px;
    max-width: 496px;
    overflow: hidden;
}

No need for custom CSS. Just change the shade_color variable to your desired choice.

True but shade_color also controls other text that maybe he didn't want changed (although he probably does looking at his style ).
