[CMS] CSS Problem

Just a little issue if anyone has an answer id be grateful

The following footer css - in additional css:

#footerMain {    
background:url(images/styles/Retro/style/footer-black2.jpg) repeat-x top left;        
opacity:0.8;        
height:220px;    
font-size:11px;    
line-height:16px;       
}

gives as it states a nice transparency to the image involved ........... on the forum page - but doesnt work (goes grey) when viewing the content page? as you see

I see no difference using Firefox 15.0.1

Looks fine here on firefox also (linux version)
