[Forum] Activation Email Issue (When sending to Korean users)

Hey all! I had this issue which has stumped me.

Never had a problem with activation emails in the past, however, just recently my site has had around 20 Korean users register. All 20 of them experienced the same issue with the activation email not being recieved.

I've tried sending other emails via our general contact address "[email protected]" which appear to be recieved ok. I have also asked a number of users to check their spam/junk folder with no success.

I have also tried registering myself using a personal email address and the email came through ok.

The issue appears to be that these are simply not being recieved :/

My question is, has anyone experienced an issue like this before? and if so, is there a fix?

For reference, the website in question is http://www.udmod.com

    Thanks all,

You will need to view/tail your maillog on the server, if you dont have ssh access to the server, which would also require root access or a su account to do so.

    typical ssh cmd to use:
    tail -f /var/log/maillog | grep "[email protected]"

then thru your admincp email trouble shooting, send a email to the user in question.

    or

you can simply search the log itself for that users email.

    or

ask your host to view/search the server maillog & give them the email in question and ask why it failed.
