    Edit the postbit and/or postbit_legacy template(s) ACP -> Styles & templates -> style manager -> your style here -> edit templates -> postbit templates -> postbit (and/or postbit_legacy)

    Find
    Code:
    <vb:if condition="$show['reportlink']">
                            &nbsp;<a class="report" href="{vb:raw post.reportlink}" rel="nofollow" title="{vb:rawphrase report_bad_post}"><!-- <img src="{vb:stylevar imgdir_button}/report-40b.png" alt="{vb:rawphrase report_bad_post}" /> -->&nbsp;</a> &nbsp;
                        </vb:if>
    Replace with (change the user groups as desired)
    Code:
    <vb:if condition="is_member_of($bbuserinfo, 1,2,3)">
                        <vb:if condition="$show['reportlink']">
                            &nbsp;<a class="report" href="{vb:raw post.reportlink}" rel="nofollow" title="{vb:rawphrase report_bad_post}"><!-- <img src="{vb:stylevar imgdir_button}/report-40b.png" alt="{vb:rawphrase report_bad_post}" /> -->&nbsp;</a> &nbsp;
                        </vb:if>
    </vb:if>

  • No usergroup setting to prevent Reporting Posts?

    This thread went unanswered: https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/show...eporting+posts

    I'm having the same problem.

    I moderate all user registrations on my site. I've got people reporting posts both while they are in the "Awaiting Email Confirmation" usergroup as well as the "COPPA Awaiting Moderation" usergroup. In other words, they should have no posting privileges at all but they can somehow report posts.

    Is this just some oversight in the permissions or is there some setting I haven't found?
