    Using "Oldmethod" with What's New

    Hi,

I've added &oldmethod=1 to my New Posts and Today's Posts and it works great. It's the way my posters were used to those working before I went to the DB method.

I would like to do the same with What's new. I had read the following in another thread:

You can add search.php?do=getnew&oldmethod=1 to the end of the What's New search, to show you all new posts since your last visit, read or unread.
But when I tried adding that to the blog_navbar_whatsnew_link template like:

    before

    Code:
    <li><a href="search.php?do=getnew&amp;{vb:raw session.sessionurl}contenttype=vBBlog_BlogEntry">{vb:rawphrase new_blogs_nav}</a></li>
    after

    Code:
    <li><a href="search.php?do=getnew&oldmethod=1;{vb:raw session.sessionurl}contenttype=vBBlog_BlogEntry">{vb:rawphrase new_blogs_nav}</a></li>
I also tried leaving the &amp in, both before and after &oldmethod=1, but still the recently read posts don't show up the way they do with "oldmethod=1" being added to the new posts string.

Did I do something wrong? Is there a way to get
&oldmethod=1 to work with "What's New"?

    Thanks
