[Forum] Tag Cloud is always the same

My tag includes words from spam posts that I have deleted more than several says ago. I have tried playing with the caching settings for the tag cloud but haven't been able to find the right one. How can I troubleshoot this?

When you click on one of the tags, does it show post?
and by cache, do you mean under maintenance > update counters?

When I click the tag, it says "Sorry, no matches," because I have deleted all the spam related to those tags.

By caching, I mean this setting. Mine is set to 30 minutes.

      Tag Cloud: Cache Time
Amount of time in minutes before the tag cloud data cache is regenerated.

A value of 0 will generate the tag cloud on each view.

What tag cloud is this? Is it a forum block? Is it set to display type by search or usage?

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

Yes, it's a forum block, and it's set to display by search. When I change it to usage, it displays properly updated tags, but changing it back to search goes back to the old tags that don't exist anymore.

Under Tagging Options, I have the following settings:

            Tag Cloud: Cache Time 30
Amount of time in minutes before the tag cloud data cache is regenerated.

A value of 0 will generate the tag cloud on each view.
Tag Cloud: Usage History (Days) 30
The number of days worth of data that should be used to generate the usage-based tag cloud here.

Tags added more than this many days ago will not change the size of the link in the cloud.
Search Tag Cloud: History (Days) 30
Amount of days that the system will keep a record of tag searches for use in the search tag cloud.

0 means to use all data available.
I have also tried changing those 3 numbers to zero, but it still displayed the same tags.

Are your tags usage actually changing?

You can clear the system cache.
