[Forum] Newly Registered Members dont showup on vbulletin Homepage

    Hello,

I have this error - Newly Registered Members dont showup on vbulletin instantly

Rather they showup almost 24 hours later, one user registered on my forum yesterday, he was online.

But it was after 24 hours that his name showed up on newly registered member on homepage.

    Please help

    Thankyou

Did he/she activate account before the name show up? Users awaiting email confirmation don't show on home page till they do confirm/activate

The new user today have awaiting email confirmation status, and he is not showing up. But why everybody taking 24 hours to click the link.

The confirmation emails are not reaching to them instantly ?

The default is " Activation Reminder Email
This script sends reminder emails to users in the Awaiting Confirmation usergroup. An email is sent one day after the user has registered and again at five days."

Depends on what time of day they registered, it may happen in few minutes or 24 hours or so.

You can change the task in Task Manager or add another.

I've never had a problem with that in the past. You can try that if it works as that's a reminder

On the front page of your admincp, what does it say for "Number of Queued E-Mails"?

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

I already ran the scheduled task, and there is no email in queue.

Users awaiting email confirmation do not count towards the total users.
