[Forum] What would cause a user not to show up in the Member list or search page?

I'm having a problem with a few members not showing up in the member list, and when searching for them it returns no results.

These users exist as I can go directly to their profiles if I look up their user IDs in the admin CP. I've tried rebuilding the search index although it doesn't mention member search as a specific option. I've also tried all of the user related maintenance and cache updates.

Any ideas?

Have these users made any posts?

There is a setting in the admincp for minimum posts before a user is displayed in the member list. I can't remember what it defaults to but this could be the cause.

This was the problem. We had a server issue the last couple days. Somehow this must have been switched for one of the groups during the repair.
