[Forum] how remove forum.php from forum url

i have 2 problem
1. i have a forum http://merikahani.in/forum
when i goto this forum its url show http://merikahani.in/forum/forum.php, i want to remove "forum.php" can anybody help me about this?
i dont like "forum.php", "index.php", i like only simple url

2. i am using hindi language to make forum name but its leanth is not enough for me. when i write "मेरीकहानी.इन के बारे में आपकी राय" but its show only "मेरीकहानी.इन के ब"

i want to show full leanth. how can i do it? i am new in this field. please help me. i already search in forum but i cant understand and solve my problem

For removing the forum.php from the URL you will need to use .htaccess, you can Google how to do that very easily.

As for the forum title is it? So your saying when you edit the site and try to type in the forum name as shown above it's clipping it short? Is it the actual forum title or where are you entering this in for it do act in such a way?
