  • [Forum] 2 commas between names in Who's Online

    How do I fix this?
    I'm running 4.2.0

  • #2
    First disable all your modifications.
    Use the default vB4 style.

    Do the double commas disappear?

vB5 is unequivocally the best forum software, but not yet...

The mods dont change anything, but the style is what is doing it. Is there any way to fix it?

Do you have any users with names full of blank characters?

I had enormous fun with this issue at 4.1.10. It was very definitely a CSS template that needed reverting.

Search for 'comma' in your templates and have a particular look at any results that are CSS templates. That sorted it for me.

              I searched and I got
              blog
              forumbits.css
              forumdisplay.css
              options-ie.css
              options.css
              poll.css
              private-ie.css
              private.css
              vbulletin-ie.css
              vbulletin.css

                vbulletin.css
Not being at home I can't check this but I would start with vbulletin.css.

Copy the existing contents as a backup, then revert it and see if it fixes the issue.

If there's nothing to revert for that template, or it doesn't fix it, repeat the process for the others, taking backups each time.
