If from flickr, are you guys familiar enough with the site to direct to me to where the direct link can be found?
If you have Firefox, right-click on the image and select "View Image."

That will take you to the direct link. I'm sure it's similar for another browser if you have one.

Do I need to utilize either the wrap CODE, wrap PHP, or wrap HTML icons in the toolbar, or should simply typing the [IMG] text in work? Please excuse my ignorance!
Note that you need the direct link to the image, not the link to the flickr page that has the image.

So, for example, not the image like this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/running...57594222012018

    But like this: http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2062/2...b4412082_o.jpg

And then you'd wrap the second link as I've posted above in the IMG tags.

For reference, direct links generally have an extension attached, such as the one above, has jpg. This could be PNG or JPEG, or GIF, or whatever.

[img] tags by themselves should work fine. Try to post the image here.

The tages you want to wrap around the link are [IMG] at the beginning of the link and [/IMG] at the end of the link. If it doesn't work when you've done that the link to the picture is wonky. You can test the link to the image by posting it directly into the address bar on your browser, if you can't see the picture in your browser then you know the link is bad.

Linking an image, from flickr, to a forum post?

I have purchased stock images, uploaded them to flickr, and now want to link to them correctly in a forum post.

I see where I can grab the HTML/BBCode or grab the link, and I've tried pasting them into the post then wrapping [...] tags around the text, but just cannot figure it out!

Can anyone advise me on how best to accomplish this?

    Thanks soo much!
