  • [Forum] vbulletin launched in a frame :(

We have an off the shelf learning management system on domain aaa.com, and one of the "lessons" in a course is a discussion area (vbulletin). The vbulletin installation is on bbb.com.

When the discussion area is launched, it is launched in a frame (sigh) and some users are not able to log in - I expect because the vbulletin cookie settings are set to the suggested settings (path to save cookies "/", cookie domain "bbb.com")

What settings would you recommend using to allow cookies from either of these domains?

Software in a frame (or iframe) cannot set cookies across a different domain.

So, the short answer is don't use frames. The longer answer is that you'll need to move the software to the same root domain, or same domain period. Really, avoid using frames.
