Unless you're co-locating and NEED to be able to access your hardware (assuming they'd even let you in). Find a webhost somewhere else.

You should check out the vBulletin Hosting Options forum.

As for it being right near you, having your servers nearby really doesn't buy you anything. It's not like you will ever be allowed to walk in and say Hi (or do anything) to your server. My servers are clear across the country and I can't think of any time that has ever caused me issues.

Something local would be nice. But I'm open to any suggestions. I need something that is fast (linux based) with no MySQL query limit and possibly a high mail relay limit so I can email members through the vBulletin system without considering my mail spam.

Do you know of any good vbulletin hosts (linux hosting services) in the toronto area that don't have a 75,000 query / hour limitation? Fatcow.com sucks so bad

"MySQL Server has gone away" is a server issue. See this: https://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/...mysql_goneaway and this: https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/show...265#post310265 You will need to talk to your host about this in order to get it resolved.
